Shoes were purchased used, then meticulously clean. A base layer of the colors were painted on first, then the layers of grime, wear and distressing went on after that.

Hammer is constructed out of foam, wooden dowel and thermoplastic. Once the shape was molded, formed and assembled, the paint and distressing was done.
